Microsoft's Xbox Console to Get More Disability-Friendly

Microsoft has made another big addition this year. The tech giant has just added a new feature to its Xbox One gaming console. The new gaming feature has been added to address the accessibility issues on the Xbox gaming console.

The new Xbox Adaptive Controller has been designed specifically for people with disabilities. It represents the latest step in the company's accessibility program

What to expect from the newly announced Xbox Adaptive Controller

The software giant has finally introduced to the gaming world its latest addition to the Xbox One console. The latest iteration will make the console more adaptable to all users, allowing people with disabilities to create gaming set-up that perfectly fit for them.

The new Xbox controller features two oversized A and B pads along with the traditional Xbox button and navigation controls. The device also includes a LED indicator. Additionally, the software company has also made some changes to the packaging design, making it more user-friendly.

For improved connectivity, Microsoft has added a headphone jack, and USB port, which will allow users to use the new Xbox controller with various Microsoft’s Xbox games and apps. The company also added a number of inputs, allowing the Xbox One console to connect to other mobile devices.

In addition to the newly added features, the new Xbox Adaptive Controller also works with computers running Windows 10 operating systems. The new Xbox Adaptive Controller is expected to hit the market later this year.

This is not the first time the company has made some announcements for people with disabilities. Last month, Microsoft has introduced to the world its AI for Accessibility program, a newly developed program that will help people with disabilities deal with challenges in three major areas of their life. These are the workplace, mobility life, and human relationships.
