All of our orthopedic mattresses are made with great care. We turned to the best manufacturers to design a mattress system that would meet all of our criteria. The mattress needed to follow the contour of our adjustable beds without excessive bulging and still remain supportive. The mattress had to be comfortable but not so soft that it would complicate transferring. We also wanted the materials to breathe and create a healthy environment for skin conditions. Finally, while the mattress needs to bend for adjustment, we needed to keep the edges from crumbling during transfers. After years of research and ongoing improvements, we finally arrived at a system that meets all of our criteria. Most of our mattresses are manufactured in Iowa by Restonic. Normally, the mattresses are made from innersprings while some special application mattresses can be made with latex, specialty or memory foams. Our fabric covering is made with cotton and polyester for breathability and durability. A Vinyl mattress is also available by request.
