Comprehensive Neurological Training Facility for my Wife

My wife got hurt a year and a half ago with a spinal cord injury. It was a cervical injury and left her essentially paralyzed from the chest down. I went all over the country to search for different centers and places for my wife to get Comprehensive Care and training, so that she could live independently and functional once again. After visiting over a dozen states, I finally came across a neurological training facility in South Florida by the name of Center for Neuro-Recovery. We packed up our belongings and moved down to South Florida to begin the journey.

After being at the facility for over seven months, my wife is as strong as she used to be. She is more independent and functional and is even taking steps again for the first time since she was hurt. Not only is it amazing to watch her make progress on a weekly basis and become so much more independent, her and I both get to watch other people in the program become independent and strong as well. I've seen a 15-year-old boy with a mild brain injury succeed his parents' expectations. I've also was a 74-year-old woman who moved down from Boston make amazing gains. The place is incredible and has the best equipment I've ever seen. The staff really knows what they are doing as well.

The only reason I write this today is to let other people know that facilities like this exist. Although it took me several months to find this real facility, I knew it existed and was out there. If you want to learn a little bit more about her progress and see exactly what she and others like her are doing, take a look at this link below. I wish everyone tremendous success after spinal cord injuries. It truly is catastrophic and devastating to say the least.

How about a hospital bed that can be lower than a standard wheelchair?
